1)Take 20 minutes to eat your meal;even use a timer. Chewing slowly and thoroughly and taking your time to eat a meal has a huge effect on allowing the neurotransmitters of your stomach to signal the brain that is is satisfied, therefore helping to prevent overeating.

2) Sleep more: When sleep replaces idle activities and their concurrent snacking you will lose weight. Sleeping and additional hour more a day will actually help you to lose weight. One large study showed average 14 pounds in a year.

3) Eat more veggies: Serving 3 vegetables with dinner instead of one and you’ll eat more and lose weight. Moe fruits and vegetables are a great way to lose weight. Cook them the waterless cookware technique without additional water or grease and the high fiber and natural water content will fill you up. Season with lemon juice and herbs and don’t drown them in high fat sauces.

Enjoy life!

Cooking with waterless cookware helps you to preserve necessary vitamins, minerals and nutrients needed for good health and to fight cancer and disease. Never overcook the vegetables and fruits and use the natural liquid from them when cooking so the nutrients don’t get lost in the excess water. Waterless cookware really helps you to do this. Otherwise always use very little additional water or stir fry. Cook lightly as there is never a need to have mushy vegies.

Some examples of commonly known sources of Antioxidants:

Vitamin A/carotinoids: Carrots, squash, broccoli, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, kale, cantaloupe, peaches and apricots

Vitamin C: citrus fruits, green peppers, broccoli, green leafy vegetables, strawberries, and tomatoes

Vitamin E: Nuts & seeds, whole grains, vegetable oik and liver oil

Selenium(necessary in combination with Vitamin E): Fish & shellfish, red meats, eggs, chicken and garlic

Eat the vegetables and fruits raw or cook in the waterless cookware technique to retain the valuable nutrients or cook lightly in other nutrient preserving methods. Information from my research and from healthcastle.com.

We Need Cholesterol to Function

Again, Cooking healthy with good balance of meat, lots of vegetables and fruits with long chain high grain carbohydrates, smart moderate exercise and keeping stress levels low all contribute to good health with proper levels of fatty acids and cholesterol in our bodies. Cooking with waterless cookware helps tremendously to keep down fats and preserve essential nutrients and vitamins.

Cholesterol is the major component of the cell membrane (outer barrier of all cells). It makes them “waterproof”, balancing the passage of water, electrolytes and nutrients in and out of the cells. without cholesterol the nerve and muscle tissues can’t work properly.

It is essential in the development of memory, in the uptake of hormones in the brain. Serotonin, the body’s feel good chemical, does not work properly when cholesterol levels are too low. Cholesterol is the main organic molecule in the brain. Also myelin, the conducting cover of all peripheral nerve is totally dependent on cholesterol for its formation. Without the cholesterol nerve signals can’t travel from one cell to the next across the nerve synapses, since the synapses are also made up of cholesterol.

There are many other functions of cholesterol in our metabolism but this is enough for now.

Rememver cook and eat healthy balanced diets. Cooking with waterless cookware methods will greatly help in reducing unecessary fats and preserving the nutrients. Enjoy life, but remember most things good, if done in excess become bad all of a sudden.
